Demdeh picture my parents used to show us, especially on Emancipation Day in Jamaica...so some a wi annuh frightin Fridays fi juss a si dem, and dat dat agguh change our perspective on things...that IS old and stale news, and doesn't influence one way or the other, ppl's perspective on slavery and the Queen [so-called]

Hypothetically speaking if nine year olds in class hear their teacher in a discussion refer to the Queen as Hitler, they would think that that person is bonkers, and rightfully so. Children are not stupid, and they are well read, many of them, so why should we accept such rhetoric and nonsense here?

All the State needed to do was to remedy that. The fact that is applied to the other Prisoners is merely a procedural and not the Privy Council vacating the Sentences of all Death Row Inmates.

In my humble opinion and with due respect to your arguments, you are still projecting by seeking to interpret what you think the Privy Council might do. The fact is Jamaica Justice System is in such shambles that it is virtually impossible to get a case to final appeal under the required maximum <span style="font-style: italic">(or what will remove the State from the specter of Cruel and Unusual)</span>.

As well they should, who know what circumstances the men in those cases were convicted in the lower courts, what with police confessing to committing fraud by among other things making up witnesses, planting loner guns on accused persons, disregarding documentary evidence that might be exculpatory?
All these case need to be re-visted with a view to find out if we have the right Jamaican Citizens marked for death and we are dispatching their appeals in a timely fashion.

Thanks to Privy Council we can rely on them to get a fair shake.
Of course we keep focusing on the Capital Issue but as I said before Jamaican Justice is notoriously corrupt and very politicized, even Civil Cases benefit by having a hearing before the Privy Council as it is presently operating.
