Woman allegedly killed by young lover

A domestic dispute in St. Elizabeth has ended tragically with a 45-year old woman dead and her 32-year old lover on the run.
House-wife Sharon Richard of New Holland in Maggotty was killed in what is believed to be a fight between herself and boyfriend Leon Slyburn of Ginger Hill.
Reports are that sometime Wednesday night, Miss Richard told Mr. Slyburn that <span style="font-weight: bold">their relationship was over as she was not being supported.</span>
An argument reportedly developed and about 4 o'clock Thursday morning, another argument developed between the couple during which Mr. Slyburn reportedly used a knife to stab Miss Richard three times in the chest.
She died on the spot.
Residents who heard screams coming from the couple's home told the police that they saw a man running from the scene with a knife in his hand.
The police have launched a search for Mr. Slyburn, who prior to the incident was employed to a funeral home in St. Elizabeth.
