Security forces still deployed to Mountain View Avenue

The lower section of Mountain View Avenue in Kingston is tense but quiet following Wednesday's outbreak of violence which left a man dead and three persons injured.
Two women were among those shot.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Owen Ellington whose in charge of crime told RJR News that there is a heavy detachment of police and soldiers in the area.
The Bureau of Special Investigation Wednesday night reported that it had collected six statements on the circumstances which led to the shootings.
<span style="font-weight: bold">Pandemonium broke out on Jacques Road shortly before 4pm Wednesday when gunmen opened fire in the area</span>.
Police personnel who were deployed to the area reportedly came under heavy gunfire.
It was later discovered that four civilians were shot.
The police have not released the identity of the man who succumbed to his injuries.
