Re: Toronto in November?
Yes, it is very cold in November. Make sure to pack your boots, gloves, scarf, toque, and thermal socks. Well due to the global warming, you may only need regular socks.
Some things to do while you're here:
CN Tower
Casa Loma
Hockey Hall of Fame
Eaton Centre
Yorkdale Mall
Niagara Falls is also nice but dress appropriately
Royal Ontario Museum (ROM)
Ontario Science Centre
Harborfront is nice...dress appropriately

Re: Toronto in November?
The Christmas shopping season pretty much starts as well. there are always different plays and performances going on, I think the caribbean community is trying to push for more caribbean plays and such to represent more consistently, so I'm sure you can check that out as well. I don't know how cold it will be but it's best to pack for freezing, Winters seems to come later these days but you never know and what's cold to some is mild to others, my friend from JA was here in August and she was always shivering except for maybe 2 days. those two days she was boiling.
