For me - that depends if it's a <span style="font-weight: bold">Rollover day</span> or a <span style="font-weight: bold">Rollout day</span>.

I check to see how much money was deposited into my bank account overnight, from yesterday's work... if it's enough, then I <span style="font-weight: bold">roll over</span> and go back to sleep.
If not -- then I <span style="font-weight: bold">roll out</span> of bed, wash up, and start to work.

I'm going to Pennsic War the week after next (again). <span style="font-weight: bold">All 13 days of my vacation</span> will be Rollover days... unless I <span style="text-decoration: underline">wish</span> to do any work.

I've been a busy bee today, talking to people who are interested and asking to hear about it and see it.

Mr Witchy took Midnight for a walk this morning, and stopped to pass the time of day wit a neighbor whom we barely know... and he's intereted -- <span style="font-weight: bold">seriously</span> interested, in the services. He has a need we didn't know about. So, he finished his yard wrok, then walked around the blco to knock on our door.

While I was showing it to him, our doorbell rang. Another neighbor of his - whom we know - had seen him walk over to out house... so he walked his German Shepherd over here to visit with Midnight and Rufus... and rang our bell to ask what his neighbor was going or getting, over here. LMAO

So... with the first neighobr's permission, I backtracked, and whowed it to the both of 'em.

NEVER try to do business with a large German Shepherd who loves the hell outta you is too close. He tried to hump my leg with great gusto.

After we removed him from my leg... we continued.

While I was wrapping things up, a few people to whom I'd made follow-up calls this morning finally called me back. I set up meeting appointments with them.

In between all this, I ordered some office supplies... and talked twice to our lawyer about the parking ticket he got on July 4th... LMAO

Another story, that.....

He went over to Liberty State Park on the 4th for a while. He parked along the side of the road, along with (behind and ahead of) a few hundred cars, also parked there. No signs forbade parkin there, and no signs directed to any particular parking area(s).

He got a ticket.

This ticket has two ordinance numbers listed on it, despite it saying in cp's writing that it is for ONLY ONE ordinance broken.

There's no Court address on it, only a telephone number. There's no fee or fees listed anywhere on it, nor an address to mail your money.

It's the stra<span style="font-style: italic">aaaaaaaa</span>angest parking ticket I've ever seen...

So, Mr Witchy called our lawyer. HE ASKED US TO CALL THE Court and request a copy of the ordinance(s) Mr Witchy allegedly broke.

He called... the conversation was priceless!!

The clerk who answered the phone said, &quot;The text?? Of the ordinances??? On the ticket????? What do you want?&quot;

&quot;The exact text of the laws for which I was ticketed. That's what I want.&quot;

&quot;Ummm... I don't know if we have... We don't have any ordinances here in Jersey City...&quot;

Jersey City HAS to ave ordinances, dear. Ordinances are laws. Are you telling me that Jersey City has no laws on it's books?!&quot;

&quot;Oh. I don't know... i have to... LET ME TRANSFER YOU TO... Ummm... Hold on, please.&quot;

He was trnsferred to the Court Clerk.

Mr Witchy calmly told her that he wanted the text of the ordinance or ordinances for which he was ticketed, so he could FAX those to our lawyer.

She shrieked into the phone, &quot;YOUR LAWYER?!! YOU HAVE A [censored] LAWYER??!!!&quot;

He jumped. Her loud shrill startled his ear.

I took the phone, identified myslef, and asked what she was screaming like a banshee at my hsuband for...

She calmed down and apologized immediately.

She said, more quietly, &quot;Are you seriously tellimg me that you got a lawyer for a parking ticket???&quot;

&quot;No... I didn't get a lawyer for this. I have a good law firm on retainer - Mattleman, Weinroth, Miller. SO... we called --&quot;

She interrupted me, &quot;Wait!! You called Mattleman, Weinroth, &amp; Miller... Do you realize you called an expensive A-V rated law firm??? For a $49 parking ticket??!!!&quot;

&quot;It doesn't cost me a thing. Why not?&quot;

&quot;But... but...&quot;

&quot;Look. All I want to know is how much the ticket is for - $49, you said? And what reasons the cop wrote the ticket... besides making money for jersey City, that is. My attorney, Mr R wants you to please FAX him the text of the statutes which --&quot;

&quot;I... I can't do that. i don't know what that ticket's for. There IS NO statute number _______. Noting even close to it... Do you want to just pay the $49, Mrs B?&quot;

&quot;Hell NO!! If you can't provide the text... Never mind. We'll just call Mr R back and tell him-- &quot;

We're still doing business, as I chat to unnu... as I wait for Jersey City to tell me that they made an unfortunate mistake.

I got a ticket exactly di same way ah couple of years ago in our large popular local park, on a Saturday.

Well, mi jus wave dung di next police cyar, since dem hav ah mini station inna di park. As luck would hav it, it was a Sergeant. Mi explain tings tuh him, caa di cyar was still parked inna di spot. As ah matter of fact my cyar was di only one standing by itself parked legally. All the other cars wer at no parking sign, but as I said it was Saturday an di park was full. Him sey meet him ova di station an him wi tek care of di ticket.

Mi an two ah mi pals arrive an politely explain di situation tuh di cop sitting ah di desk, sey wi get a ticket unjustly. Him look pan wi ah sey, &quot;SO!. Kina like wid dat hand, shoulder, and head gesture, as tuh imply, &quot;and you complaining and bothering me, why?&quot;

Mi, ney go argue wid him caa, wi ah start get di feeling sey ah him issue di ticket, based on some tings him ah imply, an mi noh plan pan gi him noh excuse. Mi jus tell him sey, &quot;your Sergeant said to meet him here&quot;. Same time di Black Sarge arrived.

Oh dis was group ah Black Caribbean folks at di picnic, di guy mi ah talk tuh at de desk just happen to be Caucasian. Nat saying him had other motives, but go figure. Since mi was clearly parked legal an there was no sign saying i could not, and I was not blocking anything (which i showed the Sarge). Di sarge tell him, fi bring di ticket tuh him. Him grab di ticket inna huff an gi di Sarge. Di Sarge den look pan wi an sey, don't worry about it I will tek care of it right now. Wi tell him thanks very much an left.

Mista Witchy looks heavily Hispanic, now that he's lost weight and only weights 180 lbs. His beard is trimmed close, and he's darker - dark olive complexion - than many Hispanics from South America or the Caribbean regions.

Jersey City is very heavily Hispanic of population.

Bet'cha his beater Nissan was mistaken for a poverty-stricken Hispanic's.
