Hmm...

They psyche of the racist is interesting:
1. They seem to seldom admit they are just bigoted racists but often try to argue for the objectivity of their view.
2. They always reduce the object of their hate to the caricature/stereotype that enforces there tenuous grasp on superiority even when it clearly doesn't fit.

But that's just a general observation...

As for the quote in question, I'm willing to accept some of it might be lost in translation.
I'm aware that 'Little black' or 'negrito' is sometimes used in these Spanish countries as a 'nicer' designation for blacks.
So he may be saying Obama is merely a 'house negro' in that he's just implementing the policies of his masters.
That's not too far from what some of us say so....

incredible;
but in many latin-american societies, racism is an everyday thing; it is more overt & accepted than some of us are used to and pretty blatant- so no surprises here;
i remember when i didn't even know there were so many black people in honduras til i met them
