Ah ah ah! Please DO NOT paint <span style="text-decoration: underline">all</span> Sephardic Jews with the same brush.

Sephardic Jews are merely the non-European/Eastern Jews. Ashkenazic Jews follow cultural customs and food recipes from centuries and centuries of western Europe. Sephardic Jews are from eastern Europe, the far and near East, and pre-1492 Spain, and they carry different, more eastern cultural customs and food recipes. The prayers that each group pray are about the same, other than the language in which the prayers are said. Ashkenazic Jews, these days, then more to speaking Hebrew with the modern Israeli pronounciation, whereas the Sephardic Jews use the older pronounciation.

Syrian Jews are not always Sephardic, although many are.

What DOES set apart the majority of Syrian Jews is the SYRIAN part.
A far higher percentage of Syrian Jews are SYRIAN, and interested in moving SYRIAN politics... even when they live here in the USA, or anywhere else other than in Syria!

Nope. People are the same everywhere, I'm afraid - both the good and the bad are the same about all people.

In the case of Syrian Jews vs other Jews - it's not about skin color, but it's political.

In the case of 'black people' or 'people of color' or African diaspora - it may be about skin tone (lighter vs darker).

I don't know about the origins of Jamaican Jews. I've never even met a Jamaican Jew, actually... But if they're Middle Eastern, then the are most likely Sephardic.

It is true that some 'Syrian' Jews are ethnically Lebanese Jews who remained on the Syrian side of the Lebanese/Syrian border... or perhaps who moved over the border for a variety of possible socio-economic reasons.
