Wendy Williams sez goodbye to radio

Wendy Williams announced yesterday that she will be leaving her NY radio show as of July 31st to focus more on her new television show. Wendy has been on air in NY since 1989 where she started out as a DJ for 98.7 Kiss FM, she then moved on in 1994 to Hot 97 but was let go in 1998 after her incident with Angie Martinez. She then returned back to NY airwaves in 2001 at her current station 107.5 WBLS. Last year, Wendy started her TV show that turned out to be a hit and recently returned this year. The show has been picked up by Fox and BET. Wendy had this to say:
“My hope is that you will do your best to find me on your remote so I can continue to entertain and inform you each and every day.”
Wendy will make her offical annoucement today at 4pm to her radio listeners. We at AllThatsFab would like to wish Wendy the best of luck and maybe one day return back to radio.

I guess she has a following on the air? I listen to her show from time to time but am not a follower

Mi used to love Wendy from she de pon KissFM where she was just a DJ, and then mi a rate her since she join Hot97. She use to have class when she reported and it was interesting. But then she cross that line an jus dig up dirt on people until she got fired and had to run to Philly, probably cause she didn't feel safe in NYC where half the people she susu pon live. Mi lose all mi respec fi her since.
