Professor Gates knew all about "this" and as a "black" man, he re-acted to it... The "test" borne out his suspicion, but he paid the price for it!.. It's time educated "blacks" challenge "white" cops when they know that they are in the "right" while being accosted... America has always used the "white" police as their buffer and protector against the "freed" slaves(blacks), the mind set will always be there to support the cops against "blacks". The cops know this, and is why they always close ranks, even when they are WRONG...This nonsense must stop, take them to court if neccessary...</span>

Prior to this I was never arrested or even accuses for anything.
I was simply driving me new European car on the highway and this cop just drive from no where and flashed his light and stopped me. He took my licence and went and return by then he had another car and took me out of my car and put the handcuff on me and placed me in the back of his cruiser. When I went to the police station he offered me bail. I refused to sign for the bail questioning him how can bail be legally offered to a person who is being held for warrants?
He ask me what is my profession. I told him I was a simple laborer.
He claimed that I am playing games. i told him that would be very unusual for me to be playing games by being relieved of my freedom.
Any way he realize he was in a quandary. He use the spurious charge to use it as an opportunity to search my car. well i was not supposed to be able to afford that car without doing something that he couldn find evidence of It in the car.
well they did not find what they were looking for. But probably found documents that gave them a hint that they chose the wrong person.
He called his chief of police. Still having me sitting at the desk. He didn't want to put me in the lockup. The chief told him to release me, without charge . i told him point black that and I will sue the city.. They released me anyway and since they took away my car I got a relative to take me home and did not pick up the car for a few days. they called every single day to apologise and told them the last day that the only way I don't sue them is if I get a written apology from the officer, the police chief and the mayor. well I Got from the officer and the police chief, but they begged me not to ask the mayor since it may cost them their job.
The funny thing is that I am on the list of blacks who to avoid in this area since. They all knew of it through the grape vine I suppose. Since i don't believe that there could be an official means of doing so. Today my wife is on the police oversight board for many years and I am the primary for quite a few of them. </span>
