Walking away with two of the most heavily weighted sectional prizes, Miss Manchester Chereese Ricketts was well on her way to winning the Miss Jamaica Festival Queen 2015 competition.
Ricketts who walked away with the awards for most culturally aware and most active in community,tonight walked away with the coveted Festival Queen title.
Many believed Ricketts cemented her spot in the middle of the photo frame when she eloquently answered her question in the top five.
She won for herself a cash prize of $300,000, the JCDC trophy, weekend for two, a 32" LED television among other things.
Miss St James Issia Thelwell and Miss Kingston and St Andrew Michelle Thomas were second and third respectively.
