Has anyone seen Summer?

Summer has been missing fi bout 30 days now.

Whateva happened to it?

Temperatures in the high sixties, cold mornings, rain rain rain almost every day and night. Now di eveling look like seh it got washed out. Pere thundah an lightning aawn yahsoh>

Mi si ppl all a walk rung wid jakkit as if them a expect temperature drap. Lass nite mi deh a Joisey, and wan rhatid piece a breeze wid cold air, everybody a shivvah an a seh dem waan go back a Boo Yaawk, as hiff Boo Yaawk no cowl tuh .

Nope.

But a hailstorm just hit an hour ago that produced hailstones the size of nickes and quarters (no joke!) and a bolt of lightening that burnt the big tree nearest to my wooden clapboard garage... and the flames caught my garage on fire. The same garage that houses my FJ80 Land Cruiser, my beoved Babycakes - my antique Cutlass Brougham, and my fine canoe!!

The fire department is gone. We worked in the storm to put out the fire with my backyard garden hose and my next-door neighbors' garden hoses out back. there wasn't much work left by the time the firehouse emptied and got the 2 blocks down to us.

Thank God there's little damage. We only will need to replace the wooden clapboards.
