Footballers are a prize catch for the majority of young women here in the UK,most of them earn on average £100,000 per week,and pretty girls literallly throw themselves at these guys,...the majority of the girls are young pretty and white,..these guys are young wealthy and single,they are hardly likely to say no when they are in the sweet shop and there are so many free sweets. </div></div>

No,throwing oneself at wealthy footballers appears to be a white thing, young pretty black women dont play that way,or it may be that young pretty black women throw themselves at entirely different objects of desire.

You know,I`m sure the parents are entitled to say what they say about the killer,and saying that he &quot;wormed&quot; his way into the family isnt suggesting anything about the colour of the murderer,or their opinion of him based on his colour.
No one so far as I know (in the media or otherwise)on this side of the pond has seen this crime in a racial context,so it`s kinda odd to see people in other countries making something of the couple`s racial make up,maybe unlike other countries here in the UK a mix race couple is no big deal.

Well that may be what happens in canada but as I said,inter racial couples are no big deal in the UK,it is not a novelty,and people in inter racial relationships dont walk down the street trying to get peoples attention,.....the only way they would get attention is probably if they both stripped off bollock naked,..and this being the UK people would just politely look the other way.

The racial dynamics here are way different to that of canada,black people dont angst so much about other black people who date white women/men,and mix race couples dont consider themselves to be from a different planet to be stared at.

However, as it's so prevalent (black British males were around 50% more likely than black females to marry outside their race) and being more reserved than N. Americans, people don't speak openly about it. I have never known anyone to confront their children about being in interracial relationships, but have heard them expressing concern (if not disappointment) to friends and other relatives.

Valid points BStar, but things are alot better than they were in the 60's 70's and 80's, if you live in a city or town that's diverse, then it's generally not an issue. Notwithstanding as you pointed out, that family members might privately express disappointment, but its not their life.
