I agree with tuff gong,he had no place putting his nose into such affairs,it wasnt like the issue threatened national security,he should reserve his honesty for more pressing issues of state, friendship business and presidency doesnt mix too well,as he`s knowing all too well now,...if he`s going to react like this everytime someone insults one of his ole buddies he better get a few crates of beers in now. </div></div>
I am pretty sure the question he pondered was whether or not a Citizen of the USA, a homeowner, who identify himself to the satisfaction of the authorities should be arrested inside his or her house, no matter how verbally abusive he or she is alleged to have been.
This is a question best answered in a court of law not over cheap beers while speed-dating. Some folks might be giving the President props now but project into the future when an incident such as this is repeated and the victim(s) is not so well known?
What if the President does not come out and make a statement?
Wouldn’t his past actions and or non-actions concerning other Police vs. Citizens be called into question?
Has his actions in this incident robbed the future victims of a potentially powerful, precedent setting victory?
