Strike at Grand Palladium Resort and Spa

There could be more disruptions Wednesday at the Spanish-owned Grand Palladium Resort and Spa in Lucea, Hanover. Several of the hotel's employees walked off the job and demonstrated in the vicinity of the property Tuesday evening.
The protest involved mainly line staff.
They were highlighting their opposition to the dismissal of one of their colleagues.
It could not be ascertained what led to the worker being fired.
It is reported that the employees
decided to walk off the job following several complaints about the management's attitude towards staff.
The workers resumed duties Tuesday night but it is reported that they are planning to take further protest action Wednesday.
