I need to rent a car that can hold a college dorm refrigerator. Do you think a midside car will hold it even on the front\back seat? SUV are to expensive.

This is 4.3 cubic ft and it wouldn't in my compact car. I got such good deal at SamsClub that I couldn't find a the nearby college stores. I wanted to have it deliver but the college only allow FedEx and UPS in the dorm.

I know it wont fit in the trunk so back or front seat is my best bet. Only driver and 1 passenger will be in the car. So you think I should get a midsize car?
