Madda Muchett was an old woman who use to walk back and forth from downtown Kingston to Half Way Tree in the 50`s.

She was around with people like BunDown Cross Road, Baggawire.

yep mi aguh falla im example.. engage to ah white ooman, divorse mi black wife fi a browning, run a boat company with incompetence, fail to engage a average lawyer to defend im suh im condmen imself to jail, speak to deh kkk.... and have a questionable relationship, appointe counts, dukes, potentates to areas of africa that he has no juisidiction ova, vow loyalty to the british crown, enocurage black people to join the arm forces...

Still he did predate King Mizele in congo but he was a contemporty of the great Kimbangu....

i never heard of him being engaged to a white woman...
perhaps it's true because i remember him writing that he simply could not marry her &amp; remain a credible leader to his organization;

yes he had flaws as any human being...but the great works he achieved over-rides his mistakes;
the black star liner failure was not so much from incompetence as it was from misguided loyalty- he place too much trust in people who betrayed him or were only out for their own gains
