Is he decedend from a colon man ??? was the ancestor a yardie, a Bajan or a St Lucian, the name suggests some connection to Anglophie Carribean. The Yardies who dug that Ditch across Panama, the Silver people.. Have we forgotten our history when it comes to pride ??? Or does so called black histroy only focus on the moments of slavery ????

Like it or not all over Africa today, Jamaican genetic connections is being acknowlegded.. I dont seek to claim the pride of Panama, but to acknowleged the connections to our forfathers.. something that is sadly missed.. It took Theophilo Stephenson to acknowledge the fact both his granparents were Jamaican...

I've been saying that about both races...100 and 200. Look how fast those guys ran. But unfortuneately for them, they ran against Bolt, so visually it doesn't look like they did anything.

Props to Alonso, and even Tyson Gay <span style="font-style: italic">(who I don't particularly care for)</span>. 19.81 and 9.71 are phenominal finish times.

i'm sure they know...but the thing is, they are some of the most patriotic people i know;
every panamanian has a flag that they carry around in some capacity...and they all have the word panama somewhere in alias they use;
seriously- they take it to another level...they know their ancestry (the antillians) to a surprising degree- many know the exact ancestor who came over from jamaica or barbados or wherever...
but their pride is in being panamanian more than anything else

So they have to create their own identity and try to maintain it. So that if Columbia wanted to reclaim it, they had the patriotic drive to fight for it. Panama was created by the US for the purpose of circumventing the paynent of a lease to Columbia for the canal.
France who started it had agreed to lease the land. but the Us refused to.
