Dont ever believe for one minute that the Americans are not using &quot;something&quot; They may not be able to mask it as well as they once did, but you can bet they are finding new ways... The field may be levelling because, few want to take the chance to get caught but at the same time, super atheletes like Bolt and Mike Phelps are in a class by themselves, mainly because of their physical stature.

They must be using the stuff that you have been using that went to your head. that is what they are using. the stuff that went to your head. How could the whole world be using something that the us with all it's money have not been able to pay some one for information on it?? Jamaica and the rest of the world don't have the sort of money to pay people to keep secret about stuff that they would be taking. more over stuff like that go after the money. Who could pay the most for it? Who is going to develop stuff and waste it on some poverty striken athletes, while at the same time have to keep it a secret?
it is just the most hair headed statement i have read. i mean i read a lot of the stuff you write. Yes and i i know you believe that these drugs should be all legal. i know better. why should we destroy the lives of these youth for a few fleeting years of exitement? that is what will happen if these drugs are all allowed

Usain Bolt insists he is not offended by the cynics who will always question whether his amazing achievements are being pulled off without the use of performance-enhancing drugs.
Bolt celebrated his 23rd birthday this week as the first man to ever hold the 100 and 200 metre world and Olympic titles at the same time following his staggering performances in Beijing and Berlin.

The Jamaican superstar clocked 19.19 seconds to slash 0.11secs off his own 200m world record on Thursday evening, just four nights after reducing his 100m record by the same margin to 9.58s in the Olympic Stadium.

Having never failed a drugs test, Bolt is happy to be tested whenever required, but understands that will not be enough for those who remember similar tales from athletes who were eventually caught.

The likes of Ben Johnson, Justin Gatlin, Dwain Chambers and Marion Jones have forever tainted athletics in the eyes of some, but Bolt remains determined to prove the doubters wrong.

you all know I am not a fan of Manley and his cohorts... But I will give him one proops for this... This was probably his onnly lasting legasy... It was out of his first regime that came the GC Forster sports college and we got atheltics coaches... Small investments great strides...

So why are they afraid to share our joy ? is it cause there is not joy in their lives ? They can cry at funerals but cant they laugh at the weddings congratualte at the success of the moment ????? If they have no joy do you want a joyless friend ???

Who here took exams or won a scholarship in a samll Jamaican village ??? at success did the village not all congratulate and take pride from the acheivement ????? Even petty fueds are forgotten as the whole takes sometjhing from it.. If they were our friends they would take some pride in it.. I see this as more than just athletics success.. take out Bolt out the equation and I would still watch and see our lads and lassess and take pride from their acheivememts..

Abso bloody lutely correct on the money wendy,I was discussing this with my wife only yesterday, that now that the americans are without their ability to conceal drugs in their athletes they are no longer such a big player on the track.
As for jamaica`s success,it shouldnt be a surprise to us as jamaicans that our athletes are now busting out and demonstrating their prowess in athletics,one of the major thing about being jamaican is that we KNOW we are the best,lack of rescources may have held us back but it was always going to be a matter of time before the world stand up and show respect.
Today athletics,..who knows what may lie 30 or 40 years down the line.
