A convicted Calgary sex offender has been deported to Jamaica.
The Canadian Border Agency said Leaford Lewin, 25, was ordered removed from Canada and was deported on Wednesday.
The Calgary Herald reports that Lewin was deported after serving his entire four-year sentence for sexually assaulting a Calgary sex trade worker in 2005.
Lewin has <span style="font-weight: bold">lived in Canada with his family since he was 4-years old, but does not have Canadian citizenship</span>.
While in jail, Lewin was involved in fights, including arming himself with a ceramic shard as a makeshift weapon.
He said he struggled with cocaine use and worked as a drug mule before his arrest and conviction.
