these words are not new for 2009 but I'm tired of them too

Hater and Haterade.

you can't critique anything anymore without some defender of it saying that you're a hater or you're 'drinking haterade' etc. it wouldn't have bothered me so much if I didn't think that the fear of being labeled a hater has made us accept way too much dumb crap that we would have never accepted not too long ago.

Common once said "If I don't like it, I don't like it, that don't mean that I'm hating." it's a cardinal sin these days to have a differing opinion from someone, particularly if you differ from the mainstream.
