Challenger to M.P. Lisa Hanna says it was not a selection and wants a re-run

More unrest is on the horizon for the PNP in the St Ann South Eastern constituency as the defeated candidate for selection, Lydia Richards, is taking action.
Miss Richards has written to the Party's Secretariat rejecting the results of the exercise that took place on Sunday.
Member of Parliament, Lisa Hanna, received 468 votes while Miss Richards got 10. She has labelled the process as unfair, and is pushing for it to be conducted again. Miss Richards said what went on was not a selection and that it should take place.
In the meantime, Miss Richards is also tackling another issue in the constituency. She will be seeking answers about the spending of several million dollars in the constituency, some of which was believed to be spent at the Prickly Pole Primary School.
Miss Hanna stated last week that the project at Prickly Pole was never approved, so funds were not spent there. Miss Richards contends that this answer has led to further questions which will be directed at Miss Hanna's office. She asked since it was not spent at Prickly Pole where was it spent.
