Mo Bay hotelier files suit against the Ritz-Carlton Hotels

The Ritz-Carlton Hotels, a unit of Marriott International of Bethesda, Maryland is being sued by the owner of a luxury resort in Montego Bay, St. James that claims the company mismanaged the property and should pay US$145 million in damages.
<span style="font-weight: bold">A report in the Washington Post said Ritz-Carlton engaged in sloppy accounting, refused to keep beaches clean, mishandled a sewage system and otherwise failed to manage the Rose Hall Ritz-Carlton Golf & Spa Resort</span>, according to the complaint.
Rose Hall Resort LP, which built the resort and hired Ritz-Carlton to run it, filed the federal suit on September 3 in Atlanta.
