as cb noted, there's been a trend to hot colours in the new developments, specially di one dem up inna di hills. back in the day a fancy house was all white, the architectural doodads such as columns, upstairs/downstairs, etc showing that the owner have money. now fancy house have ship winda and bright tangerine colours. maybe is a new money ting.
