Dead JA woman in MD.

Just heard on NPR radio that Jamaican woman was found dead outside her apartment in Silver Spring MD last week. They have no suspect. Deceased woman, Simone White's sister came up from JA to assess her sister murder. There's a 5k reward for any info.

A 37-year-old woman shot at least once was found dead Wednesday morning inside an apartment complex in the Briggs Chaney area of Silver Spring, according to Montgomery County police.

Officers were called to the 14100 block of Castle Boulevard, about five miles north of the Beltway, at 12:27 a.m. for a report of shots fired. They found the body of Simone White in an elevated walkway between her apartment building and a complex parking lot.

White was pronounced dead on the scene, police said.

Detectives ask anyone with information about the crime to call 240-773-5070. Callers may remain anonymous.

I'm willing to bet she knew the person who murdered her.
