Jamaicans are Nicchean supermen, our DNA has been culled by history and strenghten by enviroment.. it takes one generation to lose it.. our qualities are exgaterated.. our good tendencies make us greater than saints, our bad side scares the devil... We can be parochial while looking outward, we are cynical while looking for idealists, we can machine gun innocent, while facing the storm of the impossible alone.. We judge ourselves against each outer yet we look to others for aprobation and afirmation.......We can lock children into houses and set them alight and we can listen to the ir screams and not step forward to save protest this event... We are morally superior to no one.. just more driven...

When he came, I grabbed Charon by the neck and scared the life out of himut.. then I grabbed his bag of gold the one that was filled with gold coins placed on the tongue of the dead. Then I charged him for running the service a relative high fee . why profane him ? The one the gods respect ????. because I am Jamaican and that is what Jamaicans do to those who run transportation ah yard.. we rob dem...

I would describe my self as belligerent, cynical, cruel, confrontational, self effacing, with a spiffy turn of phrase... Ignorant, hmm maybe I should undergo a long period self critisism at my own inadequasies which are many and multivaried as they universal to the centrality of the Jamaican pscyhe....
