when i was a kid my parents who drag us all across Timbuktu just to patron a black owned business. My dentist was in the town next to me.....lawd. Anyhoo, service level was mixed...just like in any other sector. But when blacks just like you feel to badmind you even when you spend money in them place....look out.

There are a host of other skills necessary to run a successful business and most dont take time to learn such skills.

actually my derm is black(that important) and the service there is excellent.

my children's dentist is black also. I was just going with my insurance and the closest dentist, very good and very professional.

amy's groomer was a black man ...i did surprise when i first see him..but i quickly recovered.

alrite me gwine stop list alla me black bizness experiences now.

yes i guess it really is a mixed bag, but when there are so few and you get a lackadiscal, whatever attitude from some of them...

yup they are far and few in between, suh when mi guh to dem and most if not all of my experiences are negative, that makes for some bleak stats.

anyway it nuh matter what color dem is if mi nuh like dem the service mi juss leave. cant badda.

My dentist is black (mi fren daddy) an my hair dresser is also. but the dental office is owned by a phillipeano family an laaawd dem people deh need fi tek a business ettiquette course.

i bought a bike off this guy giatex folding bike. it's an expensive bike. i told him i'd go to the bank and take some money and put a downpayment on it. seem like caz mi a old nayga him neh believe seh mi could have dat breed a money.

anyway, mi goh crass di street and him was suprised when him si mi step chroo di door (the bike very original gets comments - it doesn't fold sideways but perpendicular).

anyway mi asked to put air in the bike and general tune ups. soh mi cuddan pick it up at tuesday. when i showed up at 1:00 in the afernoon di bredda neh open. needless to say the bike neh tune up caz the bearings in the snap off head were loose and mi drap affa di sitt'n mussi 3 times wondering WTH?

so i take my bike and my business to the indian man who knows me and my kids after 20 years. an daniel know mi name.
