Goodness I must be getting old cause these things have more meaning to me as the years pass. </div></div>
46 is young. But wasn't it a hidden LSD message somewhere in there?
Marilyn, that is what the press kept reporting but it wasnt true at all. Matter of fact, this was a huge source of annoyance to John because the song really was about a little girl....actually his son Julian drew a picture of his classmate Lucy who had diamonds for eyes....Cant remember his age but they were quite young. And when his dad asked what the pix was about, he said "This is Lucy in the sky with diamonds". Something really innocent but since this was the 60's the phrase got turned upside down and the LSD reference was attached.
46 is really young and I guess that is why it kinda startled me. I was a big Beatles fan when I was really young and I loved that song.
I should try to find the article about her again. She died of Lupus.
