But why dem hair not afroesque? I had a black doll growing up and she had some real kinky hair that would break combs. I had to cut it off but the style was sooo cute!

Kinda like a Toni Braxton cut.

I think sometime the problem can be that when black people ask for something in their likeness and it`s presented to them they suddenly dont like what they see,....its .. "Oh no that`s not us we are not all like that",......they seem to want the sanitised version,....the less urban version of the stereotype,......reminds me of that old saying,...be careful what you wish for.

Because the majority of black women I see do not wear an afro anymore,.....its either a weave,or a wig.
