..travel experts.. entry on one way ticket to the states??

was wondering if there is any restrictions on entry to the states with a one way ticket.
Reason is, planning a few destinations over a few weeks, but not solid on how many days would need to spend on the states, and not sure which destination would be the next lap.. So just want to buy the ticket to the states (first stop) , then buy the ticket for the next leg when thats decided on (which depends on whats accomplished in the states)..

Should expect any problem with customs for that?

As far as I know you shouldnt have any trouble. I book one way tickets for my guys (oil field workers) all the time as their days of work and rest vary an sometimes they drive back. I never had any of them tell me they had trouble with immigration.

I know someone who went there last week from Jamaica and its the first time there for her and she only went on a one way ticket and is only a visitors visa she has and she did not have any problems

I book one way on one airline in. One way on another airline out.
