it seems that the world is so enamoured with the first black US president that they aren't thinking quite straight....

Did he get the prize as a result of &quot;white guilt&quot; and not because of his accomplishments? My gut tells me yes.

It would speak volumes if he does indeed do the honorable thing and respectfully declines from accepting the award. He can accept it in the future when it is earned.

It ain’t Obama’s war. He didn't sow it. 90% of it was botched before he took office. Now if he fertilizes that that field with another couple hundred billion dollars and tens of thousands of lives including civilians into that sinkhole, it will be.
