Biz I lie not. If I want to reach her on Thursday, I know to call the cell, because she calls it &quot;Jenna's day&quot;. The girl is good. Remember when Oprah was wearing hers shorter? Well my girlfriend's hair looked just like hers, bouncing, shiny behaving, perfectly styled, as though Andre himself had done it. But I'm just sayin.....glad it's not me.

i remember going to Joseph's in NYC to get my hair done

he was world famous and i finally got an appointment

i remember waiting forever to get started

Joseph probably touched my hair for 5 seconds - his assistants did all the work

when i was finished - i paid that world famous bill and tip

left the salon - ran to Bloomies - hit the bathroom and boo-hoo'd over the 3 inches of burnt straw of hair i had left

...agree with you! </div></div>YOu know I think a lot of hairdressers may end up very upset, and some CHEMICAL companies as well, and weave and wig sellers, and on and on...because maybe, just maybe, if WE see it presented like this raw, but with a sense of humor, tongue in cheek, it might get some folks to thinking.

One thing he said on Oprah was that he wanted to see very young black girls delay this chemical process as long as possible. I will be the first to admit that my X-husband pressured me into doing this to our daughter very young, because his NEW wife's daughter's hair looked so much &quot;better&quot;. Mind you now, he kicked in no additional funds to pay for all these beauty shop appointments, (and her beautician wanted CASH only).

My daughter, about 6 years ago made the decision to go perm free, and her hair is STILL grogeous without it.

Maybe if we take a good long look at WHERE our $$$$$$$ are going in this process, and let's not talk about time lost, valuable productive time that could be spent doing something to further our cause and such, (I honestly have a girlfriend who will not let anyone touch her hair but Jenna, and Jenna takes you first come first served. I saw him on OPrah, and those were the 3 things they talked about...money, time lost, and young girls being subjected to the process prematurely.

i wonder how we value ourselves when we make movies like this about things we should have known long ago...
i'm not trying to censor anyone but i have a problem with a big hollyweird star like chris rock doing it for profit masquerading as a public service announcement;

they all need to come clean and stop fooling the youth
