So what prompted Marge to strip down? Well, this year marks The Simpsons’ 20th anniversary.

In addition to celebrating Fox’s longest-running animated comedy, this issue of Playboy will also include a tribute to the lovely Farrah Fawcett, an interview with actor Benecio Del Toro and a feature on 30 Rock star Tracy Morgan, says E! Online.

And not to worry, Hefner fans. Marge isn’t replacing the usual real-life human Playmate who graces the magazine’s pages – she’s just a special addition.

Not really. .....
This is only an extension of the phenomenon of 'reality shows.

That has so far reduced the expensive stars,but it still have the expensive production staff.
with comic/cartoon figures.
they can export (outsource)the work to cheap offshore places. they can even print it there.
Much of the cartoons on cable and movies,are produced in India, and China presently. Using computer generated graphics.
They are experimenting to see if they can create a platform that eliminates the need for high paid models, and make a bigger profit.
capitalism has taken on an agenda since the initiation fREeganomics, where they are dead set on making money by eliminating paid personnel.
the problem is they forget that these same paid personnel are the source of their profits.
So eventually they may be able to produce products without the service paid human, but they will have destroyed their market.
Since it is still the human beings they will have to sell to.

And unemployed people can't but stuff after the unemployment run out.
God help these small government kooks.
The won't know that a tight fist can't catch any money....and they will need much of that.

It is impossible to derive any benefits they are striving for. since profits is the result of selling to those who can afford stuff.

as we shrink the incomes of the society, their ability to purchase stuff also shrink a log with the profits they are trying to increase.

it is a loose loose plan.but they don't know because they don't think.
They pay others to do that, and they can't think
either.

Believe me, they wouldn't believe you if you told them. even if you swore, they wouldn't.
