My little Honda of 114k miles failed state inspection "air bag light staying on". I took it to a dealer who advised the car has bad sensor and also crack radiator. I prepaid for the sensor and they would call when parts arrived. Ok. 1000ft from the dealer the car blew up. I open the hood and the radiator neck was broken. I U-turned to the dealer and asked why didn't you informed me the radiator neck was broken off and you taped it up that's no damn crack, someone had to had dropped something on it or rest their body weight. He says that's how I brought it in. BS, the car has never leak green fluid on my garage floor and has never over heat.

Any way I have it towed from the dealer to my personal mechanic who fixed the radiator for $800 less. Planed to take it to another dealer to fix the sensor.

It was only 3 days earlier my mechanic had the car for couple of hours changing oil and he didn't notice crack or over heat either.

If you had taken it to a reputable oil change outfit that examined it and did not report the damage to the radiator. You could blame them for it. Then if they stated they were not responsible, you have them give you that in writing. Then take a <span style="font-weight: bold">copy</span> of it back to the dealer,as evidence that it was damaged in their care. If they refuse, write a letter to your state attorney general with the copies of evidence. The attorney general will write them, and they will gladly replace it and charge to their insurance.

I may just try that. It was Good Year auto who had done the state inspection and failed on the &quot;air bag light.&quot; I will stop by to see them tomorrow to asked if they had seen the damage. I had the oil change few days later by my mechanic who is also registered to do inspection and emission. He's far away so I don't always go for minor stuff.
