it's not even worth serious analysis...
i was expecting a real documentary, but this is jokes;

he talked to a couple of schoolgirls &amp; a guy with a blue mountain coffee planation...
this plus calling jamaica the drugs &amp; murder capital of the caribbean was his only in-depth analysis

It seemed there were other parts that we dont have access to see (ie I felt the 3 parts was not the complete show). That being said, do you not think Jamaica has a serious problem with drugs and murder?

What does he care if it does?
He went to Jamaica and only seek out Britons,spoke to only Britons ans servants of Britons.
He Then made his crackumentory.

He was quick to say Jamaica went into debt dringthe 90's.

I wonder why he didn't carry on with the old lie that it was the 70's? He completely forget to ad that Jamaica was broke at independence after the Brits took every penny,when they left.

And it never got an opportunity to trade it's way our of the poverty.
because Britain Pay whatever they want and a charge whatever they feel for what Jamaica sold and bought for them. So Jamaica never got it's head above water since.
irrespective of the lauded stories of the 60's growth.
It is very easy to show 10% growth when your base you are coming from is zero.The fact is, anything Jamaica did would have been growth.

yes i would like to see the rest, but from what i saw in those videos it was a shoddy documentary with no real breakdown...
he merely highlighted jamaica's problems any chance he got with no explanation as to the backdrop or roots of how it got to be that way &amp; instead of interviewing prominent sociologists or economists, etc. he talks to schoolgirls &amp; british prisoners???

of course i know jamaica has problems, but i don't consider this 'documentary' to be a serious discussion of them...
it's more of a tabloid piece and the guy is so biased it's ridiculous

Just watched these for first time, thank you for sharing them jah-yout


I think that many will actually see through Trevor's act.
He comes across as very naive (comment about the security carrying guns - if he has travelled to anywhere outside of England (as many British have) he will know that it is quite normal for security to carry weapons), the dangerous mountain terrain act is also showing his ignorance.

He shows a bemusingly high level of sympathy towards the British girls in Ja jails. Given Ja's drugs issues, i think people will see it as a relief that at least SOME are being caught by Ja authorities. I also think that people will be impressed that the girls all look so healthy!!

I watch some pt1 scenes without the sound, and Ja does not look too bad in them, however Trevor's expression speaks a thousand words, and much as his interviewees seem open, he seems to always display a look of slight contempt - I don't think that it does his image much good.

Pathetic, hardly a documentary, but Trevor's opportunity to show his obvious contempt of Jamaicans. What has Jamaicans ever done to him? <span style="font-weight: bold">Is it pure jealousy</span>?
