No I am not taking Blu's job. I am very discouraged this morning. I just watched the morning news. I knew that yesterday, a young single mother left her 2 and 3 year old boys home alone to go "shopping" with other family members (yes, there were other voices around who should have not only told her to stay home, but should not have been party to her leaving). A fire started at the house. The 3 year old died last night, the 2 year old will survive, a 5 year old brother was at school (I'll bet my last dollar all 3 have different daddies.)

Anyway, they were just interviewed the Aunt (mother's sister)

"Do you now regret leaving the children at homne alone?"

"No, because we don't know how the fire started, whether they set it or someone threw something into the house that set it off."

(Excuse me, I don't get this?????)

"Was your sister upset when she got the call?"

"No, She just came home and peeped in the ambulance , but she didn't go to the HORSE pital with them. She ok. She don't leave them home ALL the time, just sometime."

That's horrible! She should be tried and hung out to dry..take them children away from her.

I watch this kind of stuff, and read the letters to the editor so I can keep my finger on the pluse of the people I am surrounded with.

These are (some) of the parents who sent their children to school everyday, and we wonder why the kids are the way they are.

Trifling, slack women like this pop out babies like popcorn, and I know peope ,decent people, who would die to have one and can't.

People who gave to make decision between stating with kids and starve. since they can't trust any one withn their welfare cards.
And they can't spend it without being present. And risking theor lives and safety, and try to feed them. They same options people who do High risk jobs take. Many have to risk losing their lives on a daily basis,and probably leaving their kids without a parent to tale care of them.
People who life throw a difficult curve ball and they can't throw Ir back.

why is anyone surprised at the Aunt's respones to the reporter's question ? or to her responses about the Mother's reaction upon finding out the news ?

What is the socioeconomic background of the mother/aunt ? unnu really expect dem fi know any better

There are a thing called laws, in some places. You can't buy pill over the counter. oh good lord dudd....there were surely more options for this mother than you state. she went shopping...she could have taken the kids with her, she went with a relative...one of them could have watched the kids while the other shopped.

when people make bad choices...you shouldn't be so quick to make excuses for them.
