<span style="font-weight: bold">Man arrested for making coffee naked</span>

SPRINGFIELD, Va., Oct. 20 (UPI) -- A Virginia man said he is fighting the indecent exposure charge brought against him after he was spotted making coffee naked in his kitchen.

Eric Williamson, 29, of Springfield, said he was home alone Monday when he walked into the kitchen naked to make coffee at about 5:30 a.m., WTTG-TV, Washington, D.C., reported Tuesday.

&quot;Yes, I wasn't wearing any clothes but I was alone, in my own home and just got out of bed. It was dark and I had no idea anyone was outside looking in at me,&quot; Williamson said.

Police said an unidentified woman who was walking with a 7-year-old boy spotted Williamson through a window and reported the scene to police. A Fairfax County Police spokesman said Williamson was arrested because investigators believe he wanted to be seen by the public.

However, Williamson, father of a 5-year-old girl, said that was not the case.

&quot;I am a loving dad. Any of my friends and anyone knows that and there is not a chance on this planet I would ever, ever, ever do anything like that to a kid,&quot; he said.

Williamson said he is meeting with a lawyer to discuss ways to fight the charge, which could result in one year in jail and a fine of up to $2,000.

I believe there are occasions when it could be deemed offensive to be seen naked in your own home,if he was furtively walking from room to room then that could be seen as an innocent act,but if he stood for any length of time by an open window then yes it could be seen as offensive.

If he was to stand by an open window with his arms on his hips and clearly aroused with that sort of &quot;look at me big strong man&quot; smirk on his face then I think that would be cause for some concern.


However.......if it was a woman doing the parading,and a man passing by,I very much doubt if it would have got as far as it now has.
