Am I the only think it's abnormal for my male coworker to spent all night in his sister hospital labor room? I asked where's the dad? He says he says he chased him away long time cause he's no good.

Re: Brother in sister delivery birth room - normal ?
What are you grossed out about? Have you ever participated in delivering birth? Ain't nothing sexual about that situation, if that is what you are implying.
Childbirth can be traumatic. Maybe your co-worker understood how much support his sister needed at that time. Maybe she was scared and needed a close relative near by. Who knows what their circumstances are?
I cannot judge. Further more, older sons have helped their mothers deliver babies. Not gross. It's part of life.

Re: Brother in sister delivery birth room - normal ?
When my first grandchild was born (my son's son), I sat right at the end of the bed with a bird's eye view. My son was there holding her hand (getting crushed), and my daughter sat to one side in a state of shock. Although they have since broken up, we are still close; and I am the m-i-l she never had.

Most times that person isn't even near that side to have the birds eye view much less they are often close to the person head getting squashed as you said QueenB so if them comfortable they should be go ahead... imagine being giving birth with no support way worst I think
