well not much to say beside empty platitudes so stay well and thanks for your well wishes. yes, i'm now feeling better after a 3 hour walk ande the hot toddy. but maybe i'm just drunk. hic.

I am home and Cousin Ann is gone home too if you know what I mean. My Uncle (84) quietly told me that he was 11 when she was born and my Aunt Sunnie asked him to name her, I never knew that, so the little baby he named whet home today. He held up pretty good, but if I know him, he has gone home now to cry in quiet.

But now I get about the business of living, as we should alwyas do at times like this.

good saturday afternoon folks.
(((marilyn))) it's never a good time (IMO) to send someone to the otherside, but that is the rough part about this life that we all have. you are in my thoughts.

as for me...i went running this morning. the sky was grey, but the weather felt good.
the leaves looked outstanding.
then took the dog to the spa, so that they could look after his increasingly offensive breath.
went to the post office then home for a nap.

i am supposed to attend a party that one of di current mr ilp coworker is hosting. i am not feeling it atall...but what fi do?

mi need to go look something to eat...

Every time I see a death from the complications of diabetes, i feel so enraged, that a curable disease is allowed to devastate so many people.
Sumply because they make so much treating it as a functional disease.
i sometimes feel like retiring and go instantly and go to Jamaica And start my dream early.

Ann Jackson was a very lovely person. She never in her life wronged anyone or caused anyone a problem. SHe floated through this life like an angel. When diabetes took it's toll on her with multiple amputations, she never complained, put whatever was left of her body in a wheelchair and carried on without one complaint.

God came at 5:00 this past Wed. morning and took her home. RIP

Well I'm still battling this cold. Better than I was though. Ran to the hairdressers then straight back home. Cold and rainy here (I know... nothing new). The highlight of my Saturday will be drooling over Simon Cowell on The X Factor and the clocks going back tonight...
