Special security device for returning residents

The Association for the Resettlement of Returning Residents has taken steps to protect its members from criminal attacks.
The association’s President, Percival LaTouche <span style="font-weight: bold">said a tracking device is now available to these residents for purchase at the ports of entry. </span>
Mr LaTouche said the device has been made available through a partnership with a private security company.
He claims very little was being done to protect the returned residents.
According to him, the wave of criminal attacks against returned residents has resulted in fear from hundreds who have decided not to return to Jamaica.
