Some I recall made a thread about changing their name to a Ghanian name based on the fact that this was a liberating.. I made a comment that Jamaicans had had a cultural sea change where names of the black majority was concerned.. under slavery it was not uncommon to name slaves after classical Greek / Roman names:::: Nestor, Castor, Pollox, Troy, Achilles, Nero, Appolo, Zeus ect...
Then I noticed something today.. Both the leader of the opposition and the PM had a connenction to this..

Bruce:: His father was Tacius:: (Tacitus..) Roman historian who desribed the hill behind mi house in the highlands.. Mons Grampius site of the last Roman battle against the picts..
