A man who walks with crutches outran residents who made after him when they claimed he was attempting to break into a house in Angels, St Catherine, yesterday morning.
The <span style="font-weight: bold">man was, however, held later by a woman </span>
in the Eltham Acres community shortly after he allegedly attempted to break her house. The man who the police called the 'crutches runner', has been identified as Don Taylor of a St Mary address.
Reports from the Spanish Town police are that Taylor was allegedly held in the Eltham community about 3 p.m. while attempting to enter the woman's house.
Inspector Paul Thomas said; "He was caught by a female... He was held and handed over to the police."
Investigators said that he would face the court later this week.
