The Teaching of the writings of Marcus Garvey was banned in Jamaican schools.

The Teaching of the reality of colonialism was also banned in Jamaican schools.
they all think it was all fun and black people could work in civil service.
the only government jobs that blacks could get was Police, teaching and nursing.

Even the doctors were majorioty white. Most of the children who were allowed into high school were of other race of the children of some blackhead teachers.

Garvey was not a perfect man ,all men have flaws.The former colonial /slave masters (who were the architect of Jamaican society)had a lot of black women as &quot;bed wench&quot; ,yet that didn't prevent them from implementing a system that was beneficial to their race .
