Exactly. It has puzzled me a LOT. They've even done surveys up here in Toronto and the POV of Jamaican survey respondents re: race related questions has alwasy been a bit left of centre and more race conscious than Blacks from other countries. Yet, when I came on here I was constantly being beaten up by people who were supposed to be Black and Jamaican for speaking the truth about race related issues. It was also puzzling that they would also always take up for the most low down kind of White woman who would be taking off her clothes and rooksin around. I' sorry, I don't know too many Black Jamaican women who would support THAT kind of slackness. In fact, I have only ever encountered ONE in the real world.

Mi sey some a de ooman on yah who claim seh dem Black and Jamaican are just White women who are roosin off Black man. I would bet my bottom dollar on that.

I agree with you and Jazz and, as I stated in one of the other threads, as soon as he started denying his Blackness, I lost respect for him. Talk about a self-loathing Black. When I saw his choice of a marrriage partner I was shocked and it told me a LOT.
