Paul Anka Files For Divorce After Domestic Dispute With Wife

Paul Anka filed for divorce on Thursday (December 3rd) following a domestic dispute with wife Anna that morning which saw Ventura County Sheriff showing up to Anka's California estate. Cleavelandleader.com reported that Anka told the officers that he had arrived at the house to take his children to school when a fight started between the couple about a maid who was fired the day before. <span style="font-style: italic">Anna accused Anka of pulling a gun on her the night before. Anka played the officers the house's surveillance tapes which showed no such incident occurred.</span>
The couple, who have only been married a year, have a 4-year old son Ethan, and are raising Anna's children from a previous marriage.

Last <span style="font-weight: bold">December Anna was arrested for hitting Anka in the head with an ice cube, which resulted in the singer needing staples to close the wound</span>. He later dropped the case before charges were filed.
