Project on Jamaica

I'm partipating in a group project on how Christmas is celebrated in Jamaica. I can't really find any information how Christmas is celebrated in Jamaica other than most of the country is christian and celebrate it like most christians do.

WHat are typical decorations? Any festivities/activies that are specific to the community in Jamaice?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I guess what I want to know is how to capture these articles in a table decorating setting. We're going to have the Flag and a hibiscus tree to decorate instead of a pine tree, and we're going to have everyone dress up in something to resemble Jankanoo.

I'm just worried that the table won't capture everything that I need it to.

Why not print them off and make place mats out of them. Then you can go around the table and each person can read their place mat.

It's for a project at work... a little interdepartmental competition and I don't like losing. So, I always go overboard with my decorations.

I'm still working on how to get in all of the cleaning the articles I've read say takes place at this time of the year. We're going to get curtains to hang around the table...other than that...everything is going to go on the christmas tree as decorations of information.
