How long are you willing to stick it out with a thread?

Do you read all the way to the bitter end or do you loose interest after the thread reaches 3 or 5 pages?

If you log on and see a thread has already gone to 50 replies, do you step past it, start from post one and catch up, or start from post 40 and jump in from there?

That is not a function of attention span. attention span is the extent to which one can follow a line of reasoning,and be able to remember the details at the beginning even after many narratives.
what you are dealing with is more a function of interest and patience.
a person withs short attention span does not decide to read short posts. they simply lose the ability to understand after a short number of narratives.
you shorten your attention span with watching programs with lots of screen changes.

If is politics or sumting like that I pass it, If is a Tropicana ting I may skim some of it, if it juicy an fulla joke like witchy an the bees I go to post one an read ALLLLLL a it.

depends..sometimes I skip over some posters ...other times depending on the title I will skip over entire threads

Unless there is sparring between Dr. Dudd and RichD, Dr. Dudd and Wahalla, Dr. Dudd and [insert name here], then I just ignore any thread longer than 3 pages.
