I had a gf who re-gift <span style="font-weight: bold">every birthday and christmas present she hated...which was pretty much anything that u gave her..</span>..and she wouldnt even try to match the present to the person or check that it was even a nice gift in the first place So it is she that spoiled it for me.

I would tell her each year to NOT buy me anything cause she would just offend the hell out of me with her crappy thoughtlessness (and others too cause <span style="font-weight: bold">we all knew </span>what the others had bought her in previous yrs)



but like Compry mentioned above, it makes sense to pass on things that may be nice but u dont use or indugle in like bottles of wine, etc.

Si re-gifting good gifts is ok is the thoughtlessness and mean behaviour something wrong with ... I would prefer that someone would not go buy me a new gift if they have a nice gift that they wont ever use and it is something I would like and appreciate sitting around.

I think we all can agree with that Twiney ..what Nylah said is that she is not matching the gifts to the person so its a bit thoughtless. I wouldn't give the perfume to my Aunt for example - shi is a deodarant an dats it kina person...so you have to put some &quot;thought&quot; into who yuh re-gifting to.

Well, mi juss a read diss week seh, personal items like PERFUMES, yuh nuffie give...and I've received dat, and gave dat...but di person I would really like tuh regiff tuh, is wan in-law...what a cheap ooman...

On year I re-gifted right at the party...under the table.

My secret Santa bought me a gift that he must have asked someone to buy because he's usually a nice, thoughtful guy yet this was not quite appropriate. He's usually too busy to go shopping.

Anyway, his SO bought who did not know me bought an outfit that was nowhere near my size ataall.

So afta we opened and shared, I slipped it under the table to my gf with a teen daughter for whom it would be perfect.

I thanked him and moved on...not his fault.

This year, I happened to choose my friend's name and she chose mine...coincidentally...
