I am not sure about the Ottawa airport but I know sometimes when I arrive back from JA to Toronto the first creature to greet you is the drug sniffing dog. More often than not someone who is marked by the dog is someone who has recently been exposed to a drug within the last few hours before boarding the flight and not someone transporting. I always get a kick out of the expressions on peoples faces when the dog points them out.
