At least the young brother is out in the field tying to teach the youths, and given is racial background, i was impressed that he had the courage to mention certain Asian names in Jamaica ,who treat blacks like crap. More power to the young brother.

Malcolm X Father was a follower of Garvey,and Elijah Mohammad was also a follower of Garvey.It is said that Elijah incorporated some of Garvey's teachings in his organization. Farrakhan is also of Jamaican descent.

garvey is given almost prophet-like respect in the NOI...
they even call him a 'muslim' (which of course he was not)...
but it's doubtful any of the black liberation organizations that sprang up after the UNIA could escape garvey's influence; he inspired most if not all of them...

the guy speaks truths but i don't know if the NOI angle will work in j-a...it has to be more of a political movement than a religious one...
