You are mistaking the difference between a burglar and a home invader. You can scare off a burglar, but home invaders usually know you are there and usually is comming for you. Thanks everyone for your condolences and prayers......I am just so messed up right now........... cause he did not deserve to die like that.......there is an alarm on the house, he does have a gun......a lot of things not adding up........just no make no sense.......anyway thanks again.

Most people don't know how to deal with home invaders.

The most effective way, is to get out the bed and if you have time set it up as if you are still in there.
and hide and shoot them from the most unlikely place.
They should find you before you see them. Since they already have their weapon out.
And surprise is 90% of victory.
I had a home invasion once,and I use my remote kill switch and lock off all the lights in the house, and from my perch just kept shooting until I hear movements stop. I then turn on the lights except for where I was. still ready.
I made the news all right, but not the way they thought I would.
Then i discovered the value of living in certain neighborhoods. And something about it.
The mystry Since that night is, my wife is completely afraid of me.
That I can't figure the logic around.
Yet she also believe that i can take on anything.
She always said she hope my son does not grow yo be like me. i don't think she think so now though.

I thought that it doe not add up too.

but I did not want to throw any oil in th eointment.
It is unlikely that he would go down to meet a home invader, when he can hide inhis souse and shoot .

plus he was found in one of the bedrooms.

why not in the doorway of in the living or pasages?

DeKalb County police said Thursday that they arrested the wife of a man who was savagely beaten inside his home in December.

Derrick Ballin was found beaten inside his home. On Thursday, Ballin's wife Pamela was arrested and charged with making false statements and concealing facts
